Eligibility for Membership 

Membership in the Psychological Society of the Yukon is open to registered and provisionally registered psychologists who are in good standing with a college of Psychologists in Canada, with an active license to practice in Canada.

Our membership categories have changed and now include the following options for the 2023-2024 Membership Year (September 1, 2023 to August 31, 2024)

  • Regular Members: $165

    • Open to registered psychologists in good standing who are residents of Yukon with an active license to practice within Canada.

  • Provisional Members: $100

    •  Open to registered provisional psychologists in good standing who are residents of Yukon with an active license to practice within Canada. 

  • Out-of-Territory Members: $195

    • Open to registered psychologists in good standing who are not residents of Yukon with an active license to practice within Canada.

  • Retired Members: $100

    • Open to registered psychologist in good standing who are retired  from their college with which they are registered and who are residents of Yukon.

  • Maternity/Paternity Members: $100

    • Open to registered psychologist in good standing who are  on maternity/paternity leave from their college with which they are registered and who are residents of Yukon.

Pro-rated rates when applying after April 1, 2024:

  • Regular Members: $100​

  • Provisional Members: $60

  • Out-of-Territory Members: $120

  • Retired Members: $60

  • Maternity/Paternity Members: $60

Membership Applications

Application is easy.

  1. Complete our membership form by clicking the "start my membership" button below.

  2. On the payments page, choose your membership category and click on Pay Now button. Payments are processed through Wix Payments.

  3. Return to your membership form to finalize your application and click submit. 

 

Membership fees are valid from September 1, 2023 to August 31, 2024 and will need to be renewed in time for our annual general meeting (held in October each year). 

Applications are approved at our regularly scheduled board meetings. Once approved, your receipt with membership information will be emailed to you.

 

  • If your application is approved, we will send you your membership information and access to the members only area of our website (when it is up and running). You will be added to our email list and will receive our newsletters. 

  • If your application is not approved or is incorrect, your payment will be refunded minus a $15 processing fee.
